A panoramic view of Port Moon is the July image from my Ireland Calendar 2019. As the name suggests, this bay once hosted a harbour. A building at the coast, which was used by salmon fishers, dates from that time.
Overlooking the bay stretches the Causeway Coast Way, from where I took this photo. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the Emerald Isle and connects all the sights along this spectacular coastline between Ballycastle and Portstewart.
