Eyeries, the September image of the Ireland 2019 calendar, is often described as Ireland’s most colourful village. Without a doubt the citizens of Eyeries are not afraid of using colour. Shortly before this picture was taken, a shower of rain pored down on the village and so the facades shimmer in the sunlight as if they had just been newly painted.
