When the ferry arrived, dense sea mist covered the northern harbour of Cape Clear Island. The scenery was almost mythical and it seemed as if the island wanted to escape the gaze of the new arrivals.
Cape Clear is located in the very south of Ireland and is the largest island in Roaring Water Bay. You can reach the island by ferry from Baltimore, in the summer months also from Schull.
The reason for my visit to Cape Clear and other islands is my work on a new project, which I will be sharing here in the coming weeks and months.
