Image licensing

Rights-Managed Licence Agreement

All images showcased on the website stefanschnebelt.com are created and owned by photographer Stefan Schnebelt. This licence agreement applies to any offers, sales and deliveries for Stefan Schnebelt’s photos, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. Stefan Schnebelt grants to the licensee a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable (no 3rd Party use) and non-transferable right to use and reproduce the licensed images identified in the invoice, solely to the extent explicitly stated in this agreement.

2. The use of the licensed images is strictly limited to the usage, duration, region and medium specified when purchasing a licence and as stated in the invoice.

3. The ownership or copyright in any licensed images remains the property of photographer Stefan Schnebelt. No rights of ownership or copyright in the licensed images are transferred to the licensee.

4. If the licensee wishes to obtain exclusive rights to any of Photographer Stefan Schnebelt’s images, the licensee must contact Photographer Stefan Schnebelt for an individual offer.

5. For editorial use, crediting of the creator of licensed images must happen by including the following credit line adjacent to the licensed images: ‘Stefan Schnebelt – www.stefanschnebelt.com’.

6. All licensed images may only be used in legal and inoffensive contexts.

7. The licensee may not make the licensed images available in a manner intended to allow or invite a third party to download, redistribute, extract or access the licensed images as a standalone file. The licensee will immediately notify Stefan Schnebelt if it becomes aware or suspects that any third party has gained access to the licensed images.

8. Licensed images shall not be used contrary to the rights and restrictions.

9. The licensee may not falsely represent, expressly or impliedly, that licensee is the original creator of a visual work that derives a substantial part of its artistic components from the licensed images.

10. While efforts have been made to correctly caption the subject matter of, and to provide other information (including metadata) related to the licensed images, Stefan Schnebelt does not warrant the accuracy of such information.

11. The licensee should examine all licensed images for possible defects before sending any licensed images for reproduction. Photographer Stefan Schnebelt is not liable for loss of profits or any other indirect loss arising from the agreement, including indirect losses arising as a result of delays or defects in any licensed images or its caption or in any way from its reproduction.

12. After complete payment, the licensed images will be provided for download. There is no right of withdrawal of downloaded images.
