Photography

Every now and then I stop at Cloonee Lough (Upper) and have photographed the lake in all weathers. But when I arrived here last week during a workshop with my photo group, the idyllic lake presented itself as never before. The scenery was literally magical...

The hidden Tranabo Cove is one of my favorite places in West Cork, especially now in September when the surrounding hills shimmer yellow (gorse) and purple (heather). The turquoise waters here are so clear that you can also see what thrives just below the surface....
