Stefan Schnebelt

I'm very happy about your visit on my website www.stefanschnebelt.com and hope to inspire you with my Ireland photos and calendars.

My name is Stefan Schnebelt, I was born in 1969, I'm married with two children. At the tender age of 11 I came to photography when I undertook first attempts with my grandfather's old camera. Since then, my fascination in photography and its many expressions is undiminished.  I studied photo design at the Adolf Lazi Academy in Esslingen and since 1995 I'm self-employed as a photo designer and web designer.

I first came to Ireland in 1991. For four weeks I was traveling as a backpacker back and forth across the country and from then on I was "infected". Even today, after many travels, the Emerald Isle inspires me as she did at my very first visit. It is the breathtaking landscape, the mystical relics from ancient times and constantly changing light that magically attract me. It always comes as a surprise when, after a shower of rain the sun suddenly appeares between the clouds and dips the scenery from one moment to the next in a completely different light - typical of Ireland.

My photos were published in various magazines and had lately been shown in an exhibition at the Embassy of Ireland in Berlin. An excerpt from my portfolio and always some new photographs from Ireland can be found here in the galleries and the blog of my website.
In my online store selected photography collections are available as fine art prints or canvas prints. In particular, I would like to mention my annual Ireland calendar.
